Aaron Lawry is an interdisciplinary social scientist whose research bridges digital branding, consumer insights, and human–computer interaction. He holds a Ph.D. in Consumer Psychology from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in Ethnomusicology from Columbia University. His work has been featured in high-impact journals and practitioner volumes such as The Management of Luxury (Kogan Page), Brand Management in the New Era of Consumerism (Elgar), The Luxury Handbook (Sage), and Educating Negotiators for a Connected World (Hamline Law).

Before entering academia, Professor Lawry was a digital strategist and copywriter for top advertising agencies in New York City, where he revitalized heritage brands including Tylenol, Dockers, L’Oréal, and Mini. In higher education, he has taught advertising and marketing at elite liberal arts colleges, large private universities, and land-grant research institutions.

He is a frequent presenter at international conferences such as the American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing, Academy of Marketing Science, and Marketing Educators’ Association. Known for integrating industry relevance with creative pedagogy, he designs classroom experiences that build innovative thinking and prepare students for Industry 4.0 careers.
