Nisha Chakravarty, Ed.D., is Chief Operating Officer at Minerva University, leading advancement, enrollment management, finance, human capital, and operations. Prior to joining Minerva, Dr. Chakravarty has held multiple CFO and COO roles in the international development and K12 spaces. Her breadth of experience includes leading shared serviced strategy, procurement, and expense management at Goldman Sachs and Nomura, having $2B P&L responsibility in publishing, and incubating VC backed sustainability focused social enterprises in East Africa. She has served as a guest lecturer at The Wharton School, published in peer-reviewed journals, collaborated with Tsinghua University, and advised education and healthcare organizations globally on financial performance, supply chain management, tech deployment, and communications.
Dr. Chakravarty holds a Ed.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, focused on AI deployment in higher education, a M.A. in Quantitative Methods from Columbia University, and a B.S. and B.A. from The Wharton School.
